Organizing aluminum welding training course for Company 189 (Ministry of National Defense)

In March 2017, PHATECO signed a contract with 189 LLC (Ministry of National Defense) to train aluminum welders and provide welding supervision consulting on aluminum products. PHATECO Welding Technology Department assigned welding teacher Nguyen Duc Tiep to carry out this project, starting from March 8, 2017 and ending on May 11, 2017.

Aluminum welding is a welding method that is very difficult to achieve good weld quality (due to the possibility of welding defects). During the training process, Mr. Czech Republic also encountered many difficulties such as:

• The number of welders is large (over 80 workers) and training must be completed in a short period of about 20 days.
• Customers have very high requirements for training quality to improve product quality due to the poor welding techniques.

However, with the enthusiasm and training methods of welding teachers, along with the coordination, preparation, attention, and creation of good conditions for materials, machinery, and personnel of Company 189, the training course results were quite positive. Specifically, after 20 days of training for 82 welders, the VT test results reached 100%, the RT test results reached 85.3%.

Company 189 is very satisfied with the results achieved and highly appreciated the training quality of PHATECO, affirming that it will cooperate with PHATECO for the next training sessions in the near future.
