PHATECO achieves ISO 17024 certification for welder training and certification services

With the desire to increasingly improve service quality, always bring satisfaction to customers, affirm its reputation and brand in the domestic and foreign markets, PHATECO has committed and made continuous efforts in applying the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System.

And to further improve the quality of welding skills assessment services and welder certification, PHATECO Company has registered with the Quality Accreditation Office to assess and certify conformity to the National Standard TCVN ISO/IEC 17024:2012 for the Welding Technology Department.

National standard TCVN ISO/IEC 17024:2012 was compiled by the National Technical Committee TCVN TC176 “Quality management and quality assurance”, proposed by the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality, and promulgated by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The purpose of this standard is to achieve and promote globally accepted standards for organizations performing individual competency certification.

On April 18 and 19, 2017, the Bureau of Accreditation (BoA) led by Mr. Giang Minh Duc conducted an assessment of the application and maintenance of the personnel certification system according to ISO 17024:2012 of PHATECO.

Although this was the first assessment of ISO 17024, with the efforts and enthusiasm of the Company’s ISO Board in conjunction with the Welding Technology Department, the assessment took place in accordance with the newly issued ISO process, following the correct order and plan and achieving good results.

The Bureau of Accreditation highly appreciated PHATECO’s application of ISO 17024:2012 and announced that it would grant certification to PHATECO in the near future.
