Conduct ECT inspection for Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant on the occasion of Tet Ky Hoi

From February 6, 2019 (ie 2nd day of Tet) to February 14, 2019, PHATECO’s technical staff, led by Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung (ASNT NDT Level 3, Quality Director) had a business trip to Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant to implement ECT inspection services for the pipes of Heat Exchanger No. 2.

Due to the large volume of pipes (more than 2000 pipes) but the working space is narrow and the time allowed by the Plant is very limited, so in order to keep up with the schedule, PHATECO’s technical team had to make great efforts, work overtime, regardless of holidays and Tet.

After days of trying with the highest sense of responsibility, the entire work content was completed. The test results were highly appreciated by Doosan’s NDT experts from Korea. Through this test, along with the previous test, which helped detect a series of corroded pipes that needed to be repaired or replaced, PHATECO received Doosan’s trust and they continued to invite them to deploy for the next batches.
