Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Project Implementation Status

After 16 months of implementing the Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical project with high determination from the leadership team to each PHATECO employee, as of February 25, 2016, PHATECO has completed 120% of the work volume compared to the signed contract. In which, the work at JGCS’s manufacturing workshops is entering the final stage. It is expected that the Song Gia Pipe Manufacturing Workshop (Hai Phong) will be completed by the end of March 2016, the PCC-1 and PVC-MS Workshops in Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) will also be completed around mid-April 2016.

Meanwhile, the work at Nghi Son Construction Site is at its peak and will last until the end of May 2016. This is the most difficult phase of the project because all NDT work is performed outside the construction site, working conditions are high, in many different areas, with many contractors and is affected by the weather. Therefore, it is necessary to mobilize more equipment and human resources and work with enthusiasm and high responsibility to meet the schedule. The management team, engineers, and technicians of Nghi Son Construction Site are determined every day, trying their best to meet all requirements for safety, progress, and quality until the project is completed.
