Deploying anti-corrosion technician training service for GE Vietnam

GE Vietnam Co., Ltd. – Hai Phong Branch (under GE Group USA) is one of PHATECO’s regular customers. Recently, GE Vietnam has had a need to train sandblasting and painting workers from unskilled workers who are not familiar with the concept of “anti-corrosion”.

With trust in PHATECO’s service quality over the years, GE Vietnam requested PHATECO to provide this service. PHATECO quickly met the above needs of customers. The implementation of this service is also very suitable for PHATECO’s orientation to develop new technical services in the current period.

The Welding Technology Department, the unit assigned to implement the project, coordinated with Level III FROSIO expert Pham Van Huu and Level II NACE expert Tran Quoc Tuan to provide theoretical and practical training on anti-corrosion including sandblasting and painting techniques. The 20-day training course started on December 13, 2016 and ended on January 16, 2017. All trainees achieved good results and were awarded certificates of attendance. The customer representative – GE Company – highly appreciated and was satisfied with the services provided by PHATECO in the past time and hoped that the two sides would continue to have more cooperation in the future.
