Deploying Ben Tuong Bridge project, Thai Nguyen

Starting from April 21, 2017, PHATECO has started to carry out NDT works for the Ben Tuong Bridge project, Thai Nguyen city.

Ben Tuong Bridge is a project in Phase II of the Northern Mountainous Urban Program Project, Thai Nguyen city. The project investor is the Northern Mountainous Urban Program Project Management Board – Thai Nguyen city. The entire project uses ODA capital funded by the World Bank, with the total estimated value of the project reaching over 387 billion VND. Ben Tuong Bridge is expected to have a length and approach of 750m, of which the length of the bridge is 370.4m, the width of the bridge deck is 23.6m.

The main bridge item of the XL-01A package is undertaken by the Licogi 18.6 – Thang Long Meco Joint Venture. The expected implementation progress is within 05 months. PHATECO will carry out NDT inspection work at the Factory and will continue to carry out inspection at the construction site by mid-July.

In addition to NDT work, the customer, Thang Long 41 Mechanical Engineering Company, also assigned PHATECO to carry out construction testing and steel material testing for this project.
