PHATECO 2019 year-end meeting

On December 27, 2019, PHATECO held a meeting to summarize the production and business activities (SXKD) in 2019 and set the direction and plan for 2020. Attending the meeting were the Company’s Board of Directors (BOD) and representatives of functional departments from the Deputy Head of Department level and above and Assistants.

Through the summary data of the Business Department, the BLD as well as all officers and employees of PHATECO were very pleased with the production and business results in 2019. The output value and revenue in 2019 exceeded the 300 billion mark. Specifically: the output value reached 325 billion VND (145% of the plan set for 2019 and 162% compared to the implementation in 2018); Revenue value reached 332 billion VND (152% of the plan for 2019 and 161% of the implementation in 2018).

This can be said to be an impressive number, demonstrating the remarkable development of PHATECO in the past year. To achieve such results, we must mention the success of the Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical project including NDT packages and especially the scaffolding and insulation auxiliary service package that PHATECO provided for the first time, followed by the expansion of the export processing and manufacturing service for the MV21 ship of Ghana that the Technical Department undertakes along with the development of the Commercial sector in Thermal Power Plants, Petrochemical Refineries, etc.

In addition, in 2019, the Company also invested and contributed capital to establish Viet Tech Oil Joint Stock Company in cooperation with Mansa Holdings Company (headquartered in Accra – the capital of the Republic of Ghana in West Africa) to receive and perform work related to the maintenance and repair of crude oil storage and processing vessels FPSO MV21 and FPSO MV25. With this foundation, it is hoped that in 2020, the Technical Department will strongly develop the export processing and manufacturing sector with high value and efficiency.

Also in the meeting, in addition to reporting on production and business data, achievements in 2019, the Departments courageously acknowledged shortcomings, problems, and unfinished tasks and proposed directions and determination to overcome them to move towards professionalism and ensure the completion of the assigned plans and tasks in 2020.

Speaking at the meeting, General Director (GEO) Trinh Van Ngu also acknowledged the efforts of all officers, employees as well as the collective of Departments in the company over the past year. And with the wish that each member of PHATECO will increasingly mature, promote a positive attitude and action in work, the GEO sent everyone a very simple and everyday message, which is: “HONESTY”, “SHARE” AND “ACTION”.

The meeting ended successfully with high determination and consensus on the plans and goals that were set. Hopefully, in 2020, PHATECO will continue to achieve new achievements and develop even stronger!
